About The Position

As a Branch Manager at Banner Bank, you will oversee the daily operations of a branch office, ensuring high levels of client service, sales, and compliance with bank policies. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing branch personnel, and promoting a sales culture through effective coaching and leadership. You will be responsible for achieving branch sales goals and enhancing the bank's visibility in the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • NMLS registration required.
  • 4+ years of bank branch leadership and operations experience required.
  • 2+ years of supervisory/management experience leading a project, process, or team required.
  • Advanced knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation, and systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services.
  • Considerable knowledge in all facets of the consumer lending process.
  • Proven client service, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; proper phone and email etiquette required.
  • Effective selling, cross-selling, and referral skills.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and business development.
  • Ability to develop and manage income and expense budgets; proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze client credit data and related financial information.
  • Demonstrated ability to train employees in client service, sales, operations, product knowledge, and consumer loans.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the efficient daily operation of the branch office, including sales and operations.
  • Develop new deposit and loan business.
  • Provide superior client service and promote a sales and service culture through coaching and staff motivation.
  • Achieve individual and branch sales goals through new business sales, referrals, and account retention.
  • Delegate day-to-day operations to branch personnel and perform duties in their absence.
  • Participate in the Banner Way Sales Management and Sales Management Systems programs to attain established goals.
  • Engage in community activities to enhance business opportunities.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions with the sales team to develop new business.
  • Perform outbound business calls to understand clients' financial needs.
  • Oversee the sales of Consumer and Business Credit cards, Treasury Management Services, and Merchant Services.
  • Drive branch performance during sales campaigns and conduct promotions for account growth.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.
