About the position

Action Credit Loans is a loan company dedicated to serving our Texas communities. As a Branch Manager/Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a well-run and profitable office. Your responsibilities will include interacting positively and effectively with the public, obtaining confidential information for loan applications, and addressing any customer inquiries. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, as you will be providing friendly and excellent service to our customers both in person and over the phone. You will also be responsible for taking loan applications and processing them for approval or denial, receiving and posting payments, and maintaining and balancing the cash drawer daily. In addition to these core responsibilities, you will need to maintain delinquency standards and service past due accounts with dignity and respect, working to build solutions for our customers. Daily tasks will also include making bank deposits, following up on approved but unmade applications to close loans, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Networking within the community to attract new customers is also a key part of this role, as is maintaining an organized, clean, and professional work environment. You will work closely with other team members to achieve branch goals and may be assigned additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly excellent customer service to our customers in person and over the phone
  • Take loan applications and process them for approval/denial
  • Receive and post payments
  • Maintain and balance cash drawer daily
  • Maintain delinquency standards
  • Service past due accounts with dignity and respect to our customers and build solutions
  • Make daily bank deposits
  • Call approved and unmade applications to close loans
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures
  • Network within the community to find and attract new customers
  • Maintain an organized, clean and professional work environment
  • Work closely with other team members to obtain branch goals
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate a calculator
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and valid proof of insurance
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday
  • Ability to speak English and Spanish
  • Stable work history
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
  • Familiarity with phone etiquette and effective communication techniques
