About the position

The Branch Manager/Outside Sales position at Milbon involves increasing salon sales and profits through educational support and product promotion. The role requires a strong understanding of hair care products and techniques, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with salon professionals. The position is primarily field-based, with a focus on conducting in-salon demonstrations and providing technical support to stylists.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-salon hair care demos (in-person/virtual) and education for salons.
• Promote new products and follow up with existing salons and stylists.
• Visit new salons and establish relationships with colorists/stylists.
• Respond to inquiries from salons and stylists via email, phone, and in-person visits.
• Handle product orders, returns, and complaints as needed.
• Prepare informational materials for salons and calculate sales and reward points.
• Manage salon sales and plan events and educational opportunities for stylists in NY.
• Plan promotions for salons and stylists as needed.
• Submit end-of-month reports including activity, demo, and expense reports to the supervisor.
• Participate in company/team meetings and foster a cooperative working environment.

Requirements

• Experience in outside sales and the beauty industry.
• Willingness to visit salons in NYC 4 out of 5 days per week.
