About the position

The Branch Manager - HR/Administrative at Addison Group is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the branch by managing staffing, training, and performance of the recruitment team. This role combines leadership with hands-on recruiting and business development, requiring accountability for both individual and team performance. The Branch Manager will develop strategies to attract candidates and clients, manage budgets, and ensure effective communication within the team and with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the budget for the entire team, including turnover, expenses, salaries, head count, starts, and ends.
  • Hold weekly one-on-one meetings with Recruiters and Business Development Managers regarding productivity standards and training issues.
  • Ensure the maintenance and validity of a prospective Business Development Manager client list.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and improvement plans, acting as a mentor to the team as required.
  • Identify, network, and sell to potential passive candidates/job seekers through creative recruiting strategies, including the use of internal databases, social networking, and direct sourcing.
  • Research, identify, and sell to potential business deals by contacting potential clients through prospect calls, ad calls, lead follow-up, and most placeable candidate calls.
  • Maintain and update a prospective candidate pipeline or hot list and prospective client lists.
  • Schedule and attend candidate information gathering interviews to identify hot buttons, competitive edge, and leads that will generate new business and expand current business.
  • Schedule and attend client meetings to generate new business and expand current business.
  • Develop, penetrate, and maintain candidate and client relationships through quality/expansion calls.
  • Negotiate fees/pay rates and close deals in accordance with company goals and expectations.
  • Represent Addison in a professional and positive manner in all interactions, including networking events and other activities outside of normal business hours.
  • Document all candidate and client conversations into the internal database for historical data and productivity reporting.

Requirements

  • Four year degree or equivalent.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment while being held accountable for individual productivity targets.
  • Comfortable making many calls, networking, and generating leads.
