About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee for the National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This role is an interim non-exempt position that prepares candidates for future roles as Associate Branch Manager or Branch Manager. The position involves leading and developing a diverse team, enhancing customer engagement, and ensuring operational excellence while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, develop and build a high performing team to execute on business strategies and achieve results.
  • Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding customer and employee experience, risk, and growth.
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and digital options.
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders and building strong partnerships for a customer-centric experience.
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports.
  • Ability to build and inspire a team with adaptability and accountability.
  • Experience in coaching across customer segments, including affluent and small business.
  • Knowledge of banking industry laws and regulations.
