About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee (SAFE) for the National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This interim non-exempt position is designed for individuals who will complete the Branch Manager Readiness program, leading to potential roles as Associate Branch Manager or Branch Manager. The role focuses on leading and developing a diverse team, enhancing customer engagement, and ensuring operational excellence while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, develop and build a high performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth of the business.
  • Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and growth of the team and the business.
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of available digital options.
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners to deliver a customer-centric experience.
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.

  • Ability to build and inspire a team where adaptability, collaboration, and accountability to performance are critical to success.

  • Extensive experience in asking questions and identifying complex financial needs to provide relevant options to customers.
