About the position
The Vice President - Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a bank branch, focusing on lending and deposit growth, client relationship management, and staff supervision. This role aims to drive profitability and ensure compliance with banking regulations while fostering a high-performance environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead lending and deposit growth, driving branch profitability through new and existing client relationships.
- Expand client accounts, cross-sell bank products, and maintain a strong loan portfolio.
- Oversee branch expenses and manage customer service standards, coaching staff to achieve individual and branch goals.
- Train, motivate, and supervise staff to ensure a high-performance, customer-centered environment.
- Complete KYC and comply with CIP and BSA/AML requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 3+ years of banking experience, or Associate's degree with 5+ years of experience in banking, product sales, and lending.
- Proven supervisory experience with strong leadership skills.
- Ability to travel within designated areas to meet clients and grow deposit and loan portfolios.
- Knowledge of bank operations and products, strong MS Office skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
