About the position

Bobcat of Houston is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager for its Jersey Village location. This role is pivotal in leading all internal branch functions to achieve sales and profit objectives while ensuring alignment with company operating procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong supervisory background and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all internal branch functions to achieve branch sales and profit objectives and align with company operating procedures.
  • Train and motivate all store personnel while promoting a positive working atmosphere.
  • Responsible for profit and loss statement of the branch and departments including equipment, rental, parts, service, and supplies.
  • Direct all store-based activities to ensure customer service, asset control, adherence to company procedures, and profit generation.
  • Control store-based inventories of parts, supplies, and minor rental equipment.
  • Operate branch to provide maximum support to the field sales organization.
  • Establish a culture of customer service throughout the store.
  • Initiate and make recommendations to the Operations Manager regarding staffing, wage and salary levels, inventory levels, and company policy and procedures.
  • Cooperate with the Division Credit Manager regarding credit authority.
  • Prepare annual operating budgets for review and approval by division leadership.
  • Maintain all company operating facilities in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
  • Learn all aspects of the business and cover for all department heads as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of management experience required; industry-related experience preferred.
  • Stable work history with experience in the construction equipment business.
  • Understanding of financial statements including P&L, forecasting, and budgets.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to prioritize, balance, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Results-driven and a self-starter.
