About the position

The Branch Manager at Coastal States Bank is responsible for leading the Cumming, Georgia branch, ensuring financial performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to bank policies. This full-time position requires exemplary customer service skills and a current book of business. The Branch Manager will drive deposit growth, manage branch operations, and develop the team to achieve business objectives while promoting the bank within the community.

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial performance of the branch, including loans and deposits.
• Develop and implement the annual business plan for the market area.
• Enhance the deposit base to increase market share.
• Oversee branch operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Train and develop branch employees to improve performance.
• Set and achieve individual and branch annual goals aligned with the bank's mission.
• Originate loans within approved limits and guidelines.
• Monitor the quality of the branch loan portfolio in collaboration with the credit team.
• Promote the bank through community events and civic duties.
• Identify and support cash management products for business customers.
• Manage branch expenses and ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5-10 years of experience in business, accounting, or financial services.
• Minimum of 10+ years experience in branch operations, loan production, and credit administration.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products with a focus on relationship banking.
• Knowledge of Treasury Service Products and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced coursework through banking accredited programs (AIB, ABA, etc.) is recommended.
