Innovative-IDM is looking for a Branch Manager to lead, influence and direct our Houston Branch. Do you have a natural talent for building teams that may be more technically proficient than yourself? If so, leading, coaching, teaching, and inspiring others will be your most strategic tools. You will be responsible for all areas of the operation. As the ideal candidate, your track record demonstrates a technical foundation, sales experience and success managing salespeople. To successfully grow our market share, continuous evaluation of the branch's customer base and suppliers is imperative. You will ensure quality customer service is promoted and delivered along with attaining sales goals and maintaining employee productivity. To excel in this role, you should have an analytical mind and a keen understanding of how a business works in the real world, and not just on paper. Work with our core vendors to develop mutual business plans and grow their market share Point of contact for logistics, commercial, and operations for the branch. Develop, implement, and execute strategy to meet branch goals. Assist in the development and execution of marketing initiatives. Identify training needs and opportunities. Plan training for sales, engineering, field service and operations personnel. Maintain and develop positive relationships with clients and team members by providing and demonstrating excellent customer service. Take an active role in recruiting, interviewing, and staffing of personnel. Maintain direction of the department and balance big-picture, day-to-day issues to ensure customer projects are supported and delivered on-time. Embody the company values while pursuing the company goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in a technical field. Excellent leadership and management skills (5+ years of management experience). Experience in an industrial sales or manufacturing environment required (3+ years of proven results). Experience in industrial automation industry is a plus. High Emotional IQ to coach, lead, and collaborate with others. Experience in forecasting, P&L, and budgeting. Strong organizational skills; manage multiple projects and timelines. Excels in a fast-paced environment. Role model for ethics, integrity, diversity, and inclusion. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Maintains a tactful, professional demeanor in all customer situations. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
