About the position

Hepaco, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking a Field Services Branch Manager to oversee the overall operations of the branch located in Lehigh Valley, PA. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the branch operates safely, cost-effectively, and efficiently on a day-to-day basis. The Branch Manager will provide direction and growth opportunities for both the company and its employees, emphasizing the importance of safety and compliance with all operational policies and procedures. A strong sales aptitude is essential, as this position is responsible for driving revenue growth and managing quoting processes. The Branch Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining these standards while also focusing on sustainability and environmental responsibility. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and optimizing operations within the assigned geographic area, ensuring effective communication of required reports to relevant departments. They will review operational reports to address any issues related to customer concerns, regulatory compliance, and safety, providing input to enhance overall branch performance. Leadership and direction will be provided to create a secure and respectful workplace, ensuring that employees adhere to company goals and objectives. Additionally, the Branch Manager will conduct field visits to inspect equipment and working environments, work closely with the District Manager to monitor safety statistics, and aggressively market the company’s services to identify growth opportunities. They will prepare annual budgets, monitor equipment inventories, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Performance reviews for staff will be conducted, and the manager will participate in compensation recommendations and training initiatives. This role requires a commitment to following all local, state, and federal compliance regulations while maintaining a focus on environmental health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall branch operations to ensure safe, cost-effective, and efficient day-to-day management.
  • Drive revenue growth and manage quoting processes.
  • Direct and optimize overall operations in the assigned geographic area.
  • Ensure communication of all required report information to pertinent departments.
  • Review operational reports to address operational problems, customer concerns, and regulatory compliance issues.
  • Monitor overall branch performance with a focus on safety and environmental issues.
  • Provide leadership and direction while maintaining a secure and respectful team-oriented workplace.
  • Ensure employees comply with company policies and government regulations.
  • Conduct periodic field visits to inspect equipment and working environments.
  • Work closely with the District Manager to monitor safety statistics and compliance with reporting procedures.
  • Aggressively market company services and seek growth opportunities.
  • Prepare annual budgets based on market projections and needs for refurbishments and capital expenditures.
  • Monitor equipment and parts inventories to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Perform annual performance reviews of all staff under management.
  • Identify and communicate potential growth opportunities to the Operations Team.
  • Direct weekly meetings to ensure effective dissemination of information and tasks.
  • Participate in preparation of annual recommendations for staff compensation, training, and bonuses.
  • Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules.

Requirements

  • Experience creating and understanding budgets including analysis and creation.
  • Excellent computer skills with applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain effective professional relationships.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Ability to perform physical functions as required by the job.
  • Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, as required.
