About the position
The Branch Manager at Sunbelt Rentals, also known as the Profit Center Manager, is responsible for the overall performance of a multi-million dollar revenue business. This role involves leading all aspects of Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Maintenance, and Logistics, ensuring the achievement of financial and performance goals while overseeing operational and financial reporting functions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance of the rental center business unit.
- Lead and build a success-driven team.
- Manage all aspects of Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Maintenance, and Logistics.
- Achieve financial and performance goals for the branch.
- Handle operational and financial reporting functions.
Requirements
- Business Management degree with at least 1 year of Rental Industry experience or 3-4 years of Rental Industry experience.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record history.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Understanding of P&L and other key financial controls.
- Experience in outside sales or negotiation and influencing.
- Experience in construction or industrial markets is helpful.
- High level of accountability, time management, and willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in operations management or sales management roles.
- Familiarity with the rental industry and its operations.
