As a Branch Manager at KeyBank, you will serve as a problem solver, trusted advisor, and partner to the communities we serve. Your primary responsibility will be to build, coach, develop, lead, and motivate a team that excels in providing exceptional client service. You will analyze clients' needs and recommend financial solutions that empower them to achieve their financial wellness goals. The Branch Manager is accountable for all branch operations and compliance, providing direction and guidance to the branch team on operational and regulatory procedures. This includes ensuring compliance with operational, security, and audit procedures, as well as the timely completion of branch operational tasks. In this role, you will lead your team through the consistent execution of the Branch Playbook to meet branch goals. A significant focus will be on acquiring and growing small business relationships, positioning yourself as a market leader in the local community. At KeyBank, we pride ourselves on helping our clients move forward in their financial journey, and as a Branch Manager, you will play a crucial role in making clients feel valued and supported. Your responsibilities will include fostering a strong client experience culture, engaging with small business clients, and developing networks within the community to identify prospective client referrals. You will be accountable for business growth through retention, expansion, and acquisition tactics, while leading your team to meet activity, behavior, and outcome expectations. Additionally, you will manage staffing and scheduling, recruit and onboard new team members, and deliver consistent coaching and performance management. Compliance with regulatory and internal controls is essential, and you will ensure that all branch operations tasks are completed in a timely manner. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. You should have at least three years of experience in a sales capacity, demonstrating the ability to lead and coach a successful sales team, as well as experience with small business deposit and credit operations. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential, along with a solid understanding of financial statements and consumer credit concepts. A Notary License is preferred but not required.
