About The Position

The Branch Manager at Havertys Furniture is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch's operations, ensuring alignment with the company's culture and core values. Requirements

• Three to five years of related experience and/or training in retail management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
• Ability to analyze sales data and develop improvement strategies.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Four-year degree with a Business major preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure alignment with company culture and values.
• Manage sales goals and customer service initiatives.
• Supervise office operations, delivery, and backroom activities.
• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve success.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, and performance management of team members.
• Assist the General Manager in budgeting and forecasting for the store.
• Manage the sales associate GROW PLAN process.
• Train and develop sales associates in necessary skills and processes.
• Assist with merchandising of furniture and accessories on the sales floor.
• Handle sales-related paperwork and procedures.
