About the position

At Edward Jones, we are committed to fostering a collaborative environment where our Branch Office Support Professionals (BOSPs) play a crucial role in our branch teams. As a BOSPs, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, both over the phone and in person. Your primary responsibility will be to build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and anticipating their financial goals. This role is not just about administrative tasks; it’s about being a proactive partner in helping clients navigate their financial journeys. You will work closely with financial advisors to ensure that clients receive exceptional service and support, which is essential for achieving their long-term financial objectives. In this full-time position, you will be part of a small team, typically consisting of two or three members, where your contributions will be valued and recognized. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including delivering personalized service, participating in annual business planning, and identifying opportunities for additional services based on clients' life situations. You will also be involved in marketing activities, such as planning and executing events to engage clients and prospects. Edward Jones prides itself on providing comprehensive training and support to its associates. You will undergo a six-month training program, during which you will be mentored by an experienced peer. This support network extends beyond your branch, connecting you with resources from the regional and home office levels. While you will often work independently, you will have the backing of a large team dedicated to your success. We are looking for individuals who are not only skilled in client relations but also possess a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
