About the position

The Branch Operations Internship at Republic Finance offers college students a hands-on opportunity to learn about the daily functions and operations of a branch within a leading consumer lending company. Interns will gain real-world experience by working alongside team members and leaders, engaging in various aspects of branch operations, compliance training, and customer service. The program aims to expand on academic concepts while providing insights into potential career paths within the organization, with the goal of full-time employment post-graduation.

Responsibilities

• Learn the daily functions and operations of a branch.
• Engage in compliance training and loan closing processes.
• Participate in leadership training and continuous improvement projects.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings.
• Work closely with the Manager and Regional Vice President to understand their responsibilities and promotional paths.
• Attend regional meetings and workshops to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division.
• Learn about corporate roles that value branch backgrounds, such as Audit, Compliance, and Training.

Requirements

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history and credit history.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products.
