About the position

The Branch Operations Lead Trainee position in Branch Banking focuses on providing exceptional customer service and operational support within the branch. This role involves collaborating with the Branch Manager and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient completion of customer financial transactions while adhering to banking policies and regulations. The trainee will engage with customers, assist with transactions, and help implement self-service options, all while fostering a welcoming and inclusive branch environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Branch Manager to set the tone of the branch environment for exceptional customer experience.
• Engage clients as they enter the branch, welcoming them and managing lobby traffic.
• Perform branch operations including managing cash devices like the cash vault and ATM.
• Introduce customers to the branch team for specialized financial assistance.
• Share and set up self-service options for customers to access their accounts 24/7.
• Support the Branch Manager with branch operations, compliance, and audit standards.

Requirements

• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Dedication to following policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
• Availability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

• Some college level or military equivalent or 2+ years of branch banking experience.
