About the position

The Manager of Branch Operations at Clean Harbors is responsible for overseeing field and operations with a strong emphasis on health and safety, compliance, productivity, profit and loss, and customer satisfaction. This office-based role focuses on improving the Technical Services Lines of Business by identifying inefficiencies and developing best practices to ensure continued growth and success. The manager will also develop and report on Key Performance Indicators to standardize execution across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Develop and implement projects and process improvements to enhance the Technical Services Lines of Business.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators for specific Lines of Business to report metrics and performance.
  • Monitor productivity and profit margins while striving for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with key members of the Lines of Business to enhance system tools.
  • Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
  • Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other requirements.
  • Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience creating and understanding budgets including analysis and creation.
  • Excellent computer skills with applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to maintain effective professional relationships while leading/mentoring in a team atmosphere.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills.
  • Leadership experience.
