About the position

The Branch Operations Support Specialist II - III is responsible for assisting branch personnel with various operational questions and ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures. This role serves as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on teller transactions, new accounts, and legal documentation, while also monitoring and resolving operational issues. The position may involve training branch staff and requires a strong understanding of banking regulations and internal processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist branch personnel with operational questions and issues.
• Provide guidance on teller transactions and new account openings.
• Monitor and resolve branch reconciliations and cash outages.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on bank policies and procedures.
• Train branch personnel on compliance and operational integrity.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in core systems and reports.
• Assist with documentation and verification of customer information.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal banking regulations.
• Participate in volunteer hours as part of community engagement.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of Branch Operations experience for Specialist II.
• Minimum 3-5 years of Branch Operations experience for Specialist III.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent typing skills, including proficiency using 10 keys.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Webex, Teams, and Zoom for online meetings.
• Knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and compliance.
