About the position
The Branch President at ValueBank Texas is responsible for the overall performance of the branches in Ingleside and Aransas Pass. This role serves as the primary representative of the bank in the community, leading business development and sales management while ensuring a high level of customer service. The Branch President collaborates with the Operations Manager to drive deposit and loan growth, foster a positive sales culture, and cultivate a strong team aligned with the bank's core values.
Responsibilities
- Maintain strong collaborative relationships across lines of business
- Prospect and develop deposit growth, credit portfolio, and product sales including Merchant Services and Business Solutions
- Engage with the community to enhance bank exposure by volunteering on boards and committees
- Deliver superior customer service to potential and current customers
- Function as a Commercial Lending Officer with associated responsibilities
- Provide direction for the Operations Manager, set goals, and oversee goal execution
- Manage and communicate effectively with the team to improve performance
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned
Requirements
- College degree preferred or relevant years of experience may substitute at management's discretion
- 5-10 years' experience in market development and management
- Ability to manage and lead a diverse team in a sales culture environment
- Strong time management skills
- Effective communication, innovation, and inspiration with a servant leadership mentality
