About the position

The Branch Sales Associate at Carrier Enterprise is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to HVAC/R professionals and contractors. This role involves assisting customers in selecting the right products, processing orders, managing inventory, and offering technical support. The position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the right HVAC/R products and supplies.
• Accurately process customer orders, ensuring all items are available and properly priced.
• Maintain a deep understanding of HVAC/R product inventory, including specifications and pricing.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels on the sales floor and conduct regular inventory counts.
• Assist customers in troubleshooting technical issues related to HVAC/R equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete necessary paperwork for customer transactions, including invoices and warranty claims.

Requirements

• Prior experience in Customer Service.
• Experience in leading people in a retail environment.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly grow sales in a retail environment.
• Experience building and maintaining cross-functional relationships.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with HVAC contractors strongly desired.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Prior experience using sales and/or inventory management systems.
