About the position

The Branch Service Manager at Konica Minolta is responsible for overseeing the service operations within a specified area, ensuring revenue generation and efficient workflow. This role involves managing a team, providing customer support, and resolving issues related to service delivery, pricing, and equipment performance. The manager will also be accountable for staffing, inventory management, and the accuracy of technician reports.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the service operations for a specified area.
  • Ensure revenue and profit generation consistent with objectives and pricing policies.
  • Hold direct reports accountable for quality and efficiency of work.
  • Provide next-level customer support and problem resolution.
  • Facilitate resolution of issues concerning pricing, installation, and performance of equipment.
  • Review timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of technicians' invoices and reports.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and machine parts.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of related work experience as a Technical Manager, preferably in managed print services or digital solutions.
  • Certification in A+, Network+, or equivalent training required.
  • Understanding of Workflow, Security, Cost Accounting, and MPS solutions.
  • Outstanding customer relation skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft and Apple, and common network problems.
  • Experience in updating, maintaining, and analyzing spreadsheets.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to travel locally on a daily basis to various customer sites.
  • Proficient in using technology relevant to the position (e.g., handheld computer, phone, laptop).
  • Excellent daily time management skills and ability to prioritize activities.
