About the position

The Brand Activation Marketing Manager at Interstate Batteries is responsible for leading the Dealer and Brand Activation team, focusing on commercial sales growth initiatives and go-to-market activities across a vast network of over 150,000 dealers in North America. This role involves strategic and experiential marketing direction, managing a team of 2-3 direct reports, and overseeing the execution of programs aimed at driving unit sales growth and enhancing dealer engagement. The manager will collaborate with various departments to assess program performance and deliver actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Dealer and Brand Activation team to execute commercial sales growth initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain experiential marketing assets to support dealer engagement and growth.
  • Oversee the commercial calendar and execute programs related to unit sales growth and price incentives.
  • Coordinate with local sales leadership to develop targeted growth initiatives using dealer segmentation.
  • Manage field sales teams' incentive programs to align with broader commercial initiatives.
  • Identify and lead sales and marketing programs to drive dealer growth and ensure aligned incentives.
  • Maintain budget for all marketing campaigns and ensure program performance and ROI targets are met.
  • Develop an integrated marketing approach and oversee each component from idea to execution.
  • Facilitate communications and marketing assets to maximize impact in the field and ensure high dealer engagement.
  • Build and implement dealer tools for enhanced digital and in-store presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited US or international university required.
  • BBA in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Finance preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 6-7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, including strategic thinking and team management.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
