About the position

The Brand Ambassador position at Thompson Creek Window Company involves working part-time to generate leads for home improvement appointments. The role requires engaging with customers at various locations, including home shows and retail events, to educate them about the company's products and services. The Brand Ambassador will utilize company scripts and methodologies to qualify leads and report results using technology.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads each month to meet gross sales goals.
  • Memorize and recite scripted methodology or statements prepared by Thompson Creek.
  • Approach and present to customers in their homes, public events, or in a retail store.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of home improvement products and persuade customers.
  • Answer questions about home improvement products.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Track and report personal daily/weekly results using iPad and other technology.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Prior sales experience preferred; any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to use tablet applications and proficiency in iPad and application technology.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate permits and certifications depending on territory.
