The Brand Ambassador Lead plays a crucial role in supporting the Brand Ambassador Team while also managing various aspects of event management. This position involves scheduling demonstrations and marketing events, as well as overseeing the schedules of team members. The Brand Ambassador Lead is not only responsible for performing demos but also for enhancing the brand's image in the public eye. To succeed in this role, candidates must possess excellent communication and networking skills, along with a solid understanding of customer service principles. Previous experience in a brand ambassador role or a similar capacity is highly desirable, as is knowledge of management practices. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with the expectation of weekend availability as needed. In this role, the Brand Ambassador Lead will empower their team to effectively represent the brand, telling its story and promoting the company in various settings. Essential duties include scheduling pre-approved demos in retail locations within the assigned zone, collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams to develop marketing campaigns and strategies, managing the packaging and shipping of promotional materials, and representing the company at public events in a professional manner. The Lead will also educate the public and consumers about the brand, interact with customers, and deliver performance recaps and key performance indicators (KPIs) to internal analysts for input into customer relationship management software in a timely manner. Additionally, the Lead will facilitate training for Brand Ambassadors as necessary. As a supervisory role, the Brand Ambassador Lead is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Brand Ambassadors on their team. This includes carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, which encompasses training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, and addressing complaints and resolving problems. The position requires a blend of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to various promotional environments, particularly within the cannabis industry.
