The Brand Ambassador position is a vital role within the sales team, specifically focused on driving business through expertise in a designated vendor line, particularly in the lingerie category. As the face of the brand, the Brand Ambassador is responsible for possessing in-depth technical knowledge of the products, providing training and education to other Sales Floor Associates (SFA), and offering valuable product feedback to merchants and vendors. This role requires advanced client and business development skills to enhance sales performance for the brand. In this position, you will inspire others with your recommendations, quickly build trust, and gain cooperation with minimal disruption. Effective communication is key, as you will need to articulate a clear vision and drive positive outcomes through established objectives and measures. Networking and relationship management are essential skills that will help you succeed in this role. The Brand Ambassador will be tasked with driving sales for the brand within a specific category, developing and executing strategies to boost overall sales, and acquiring new clients while expanding sales with existing customers. You will work closely with leadership to support the Local Business Development Plan and execute category strategies developed by the Brand Manager or General Manager. Your expertise in understanding the customer base will be crucial, as you will coordinate special orders and product movement to meet customer requests, while also reinforcing shortage awareness to maintain profitability. Additionally, you will play a key role in maximizing special events and trunk show focus days, developing partnerships with Fifth Avenue Club consultants and other Store Associates to promote the line, and educating SFA Associates on the technical aspects of the products. Feedback will be provided to the corporate buying office and vendors using the Monthly Recap Form, ensuring that customer needs and opportunities are addressed for future growth. As a role model for Sales Associates, you will exemplify the highest standards of customer service and take on ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
