About the position

The Brand Ambassador at Great Lakes Brewing Company is responsible for promoting the brand through consumer engagement and education. This entry-level position involves conducting tastings, assisting the sales team, and representing the company's values and initiatives at various events. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, primarily during nights and weekends, to meet business needs and seasonal demands.

Responsibilities

• Educate consumers through conducting both on-premise and off-premise tastings.
• Assist the sales team as needed with special events.
• Engage with consumers to educate them about the products and GLBC's values and initiatives.
• Distribute GLBC promotional materials.
• Exhibit a superior level of customer service.
• Report event results to the Area Sales Manager.
• Travel within the assigned market to execute events at multiple locations.
• Assist with managing promotional material inventory.

Requirements

• Entry-level position with no supervisory responsibilities.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of the craft beer industry required, familiarity with GLBC preferred.
• Prior experience in conducting on and off-premise tastings is preferred.
• Outgoing, energetic personality with excellent communication skills.
