About the position

The Brand Ambassador will represent a high-profile cannabis brand in New York, working closely with the marketing team to promote products and engage with consumers. This role requires excellent communication and networking skills, as well as a passion for sales and the cannabis industry. The ambassador will be responsible for educating consumers, conducting product demos, and building relationships within the community.

Responsibilities

• Understand business and goal-driven priorities
• Educate consumers and bud tenders on the products
• Engage and educate consumers via product sampling demos at designated retail accounts
• Create respectful relationships with buyers, managers, budtenders, customers, and the community
• Coordinate, setup, and break-down representation at dispensary pop-up events and cannabis industry events
• Have a good understanding of our products and brands
• Help prepare for involvement in community organizations and events
• Go above and beyond and be capable of wearing multiple hats
• Be flexible and open to working a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Utilize social media to engage consumers
• Drive/travel throughout the assigned territory

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Strong communication skills
• Sales experience
• Customer service experience
• Knowledge of social media practices
• Time management skills
• Entry-level experience in marketing or related field

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience as a brand ambassador or similar role
• Knowledge of the cannabis industry
• College degree or equivalent work experience
