The Mommenpop Brand Development Manager (BDM) will serve as the face of the Mommenpop brand within the Northern California trade community. This role is pivotal in increasing brand awareness and driving sales velocity through strategic distributor support, educational initiatives, brand activations, and off-premise demonstrations. The BDM will work closely with local sales teams and distributors to engage and inspire buyers, bartenders, and consumers through thoughtful activations, leveraging existing relationships to enhance volume and capture menu share for Mommenpop cocktails, particularly focusing on The Spritz. In this position, the BDM will be responsible for account and territory management, developing and maintaining a network of key account relationships that bolster the volume, distribution, and awareness of the Mommenpop brand. The role requires a proactive approach to market intelligence, identifying new account openings and opportunities for brand growth. The BDM will also manage relationships with key retailers such as Whole Foods and Total Wine, driving brand awareness in these locations across Northern California. Education is a critical component of this role, as the BDM will act as the lead educator in the market, conducting consumer and trade masterclasses, staff training sessions, and brand-led events. The BDM will also be responsible for executing various educational initiatives and supporting local sales teams and distributors in their efforts to promote Mommenpop. Events and activations are another key responsibility, where the BDM will recruit trade and consumers to deliver engaging Mommenpop experiences. This includes driving trial through sampling activations at accounts, trade shows, and local lifestyle events, while meticulously planning and executing local events with attention to detail. The BDM will gather insights and content for event recaps to inform future strategies. Reporting and administrative tasks will also be part of the role, requiring the BDM to maintain an up-to-date work calendar, track project statuses using Monday.com, and keep account trackers current for weekly status calls. The BDM will attend regular meetings with the Trade Marketing Manager and local sales teams to ensure alignment and adherence to budgets for travel and activations.
