About the position

The Brand Ambassador role at Prime Roots is a part-time position focused on promoting plant-based deli meats through direct engagement with local retailers and restaurants. The ambassador will be responsible for enhancing customer experiences, executing in-store demos, and driving brand awareness at local events. This position requires a friendly and driven individual who can effectively communicate the brand's values and products while maintaining strong relationships with partners.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with local retailers and restaurants.
• Deliver a high level of experiential excellence to customers and consumers, owning all elements of in-store, customer, and consumer experience execution.
• Provide merchandising support, conduct in-store demos, and offer staff training and support.
• Staff local events to drive awareness and engagement around Prime Roots brand and products.
• Utilize team organizational systems to track and report on key retail account progress and needed adjustments.
• Visit organizations that don't carry our products and pitch them the products.
• Travel locally up to 90% of the time, visiting different accounts, prospective accounts, and event sites.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a brand ambassador, event staff/coordination, merchandising execution, or similar customer and consumer engagement role in the Food and Beverage domain.
• Creative, customer-oriented approach to merchandising, in-store demo setup and execution, and event coordination.
• Ability to adapt to the day-to-day challenges of working within a startup.
• Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
• Familiarity with CRM software.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to travel as needed.
