Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The Brand Ambassador is responsible for understanding and delivering on sales and profit performance, utilizing key tools and resources to drive selling. They support the store in executing company initiatives and participate in team training to achieve business results. Creativity is encouraged in thinking of new ways to engage clients and expand the customer base. As the ideal representative of customer experience expectations, Brand Ambassadors deliver a consistent experience aligned with Ralph Lauren's brand expectations by supporting the company and store vision. Brand Ambassadors engage in store client initiatives and community outreach, championing Ralph Lauren's core values. They embrace the "More ways to shop" philosophy and new technology, fostering a collaborative environment centered around the customer. Networking and sourcing talent are also part of their responsibilities, along with providing ongoing feedback to management regarding successes and opportunities. They strengthen customer connectivity by supporting alternative purchasing processes and broaden customer accessibility to product discovery through various digital tools. Maintaining exceptional productivity standards through store execution and upholding all company policies and procedures are critical aspects of the role. Additionally, they provide necessary feedback to management on category opportunities or needs and ensure that sales floor and store standards are consistently met.

Requirements

  • Retail experience or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
  • Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cash wrap, and office; work around/with chemicals, lift/climb up to 30 lbs., and climb moderately.
  • Ability to operate the register, stand, move, and walk for multiple hours.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends, and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required).
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co-workers.
