About the position

The Brand Ambassador & Social Media Representative at High Q Cannabis is responsible for promoting the brand both in-person and online. This role involves engaging with customers at events and in-store, as well as managing social media content to drive brand awareness and community engagement. The position requires a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable about cannabis products and can effectively communicate with customers while adhering to compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the face of High Q Cannabis at events, pop-ups, and in-store promotions.
  • Educate and engage customers with product knowledge, responsible use practices, and company values.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and the community.
  • Provide knowledgeable insights about High Q's products, including strains, dosages, and safe use.
  • Address customer questions in an informative and approachable manner.
  • Promote customer loyalty by fostering positive in-person interactions.
  • Create engaging social media content (photos, videos, stories, etc.) that aligns with High Q Cannabis's brand voice.
  • Manage posting schedules across various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Stay updated on cannabis trends to inform content ideas and maintain relevancy.
  • Use social media to highlight events, promotions, and educational content that resonates with our audience.
  • Monitor comments and messages on social media, responding promptly and professionally to engage followers.
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to align social media strategy with broader marketing goals.
  • Ensure that all promotions, social media content, and customer interactions comply with Michigan cannabis regulations.
  • Represent High Q Cannabis in a manner that reflects our commitment to quality and responsibility.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with cannabis products, benefits, and responsible usage.
  • Prior experience in customer service, social media management, or similar roles is highly valued.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a creative eye for social media content.
  • High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Must be 21 years or older and able to pass a background check as required by Michigan law.
