About the position

The Lead Brand Ambassador plays a crucial role in executing the annual event and neighborhood appointment setting plans for the assigned region or market, working under the guidance of the Field Marketing Manager. This position is primarily field-based, requiring hands-on involvement in all aspects of shows and events. Responsibilities include the setup and tear-down of displays, assisting with staffing, training, and supervising Brand Ambassador employees and contractors, and representing Infinity to generate leads with prospective homeowner customers. Success in this role demands a proactive local leader who can effectively coordinate with various individuals across the organization to achieve exceptional results. In this role, you will be responsible for making necessary logistical arrangements for events, ensuring that all materials are delivered and installed correctly. You will represent Infinity from Marvin at shows and events, actively engaging with prospective homeowner customers to set leads. Additionally, you will assist the Field Marketing Manager in evaluating marketing performance, providing recommendations for changes to enhance attendee engagement at the Infinity booth or improve appointment setting performance. Documenting appointment setting activities for internal evaluation is also a key responsibility. You will coordinate schedules and staffing for shows and events with Brand Ambassadors, as well as recruit and train both employees and contractors. Collaboration with the Field Marketing Manager is essential to deliver targeted metrics for shows and events, including customer acquisition costs, labor costs, and lead targets. The role may also require driving a company vehicle or your own vehicle to various locations.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and tear down shows and events, ensuring all materials are delivered and installed appropriately.
  • Represent Infinity from Marvin at shows and events, setting leads with prospective homeowner customers.
  • Assist the Field Marketing Manager in evaluating marketing performance and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Document appointment setting activities for internal evaluation purposes.
  • Coordinate schedules and staffing of shows and events with Brand Ambassadors.
  • Recruit and train Brand Ambassadors, including employees and contractors.
  • Collaborate with the Field Marketing Manager to deliver targeted metrics for shows and events.

Requirements

  • Prior experience coordinating show or event workers in the home improvement industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to set up and/or tear down up to two shows per day, which may involve over an hour of physical activity.
  • Strong decision-making skills and a bias for action.
  • Ability to build strong local networks and relationships.
  • Organized and planful approach to tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Availability to work all weekends, with few exceptions.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds and push large displays weighing 75 pounds on wheels.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to travel within the market/region.
