About the position

As a Brand Ambassador at T-ROC, you will play a crucial role in driving brand awareness for innovative telecom products, services, and solutions. This part-time position requires you to engage with mobile store staff and management, providing training on product information, messaging, and selling techniques. You will be responsible for visiting a market of mobile carrier locations twice a month, spending approximately one hour at each visit, and covering 3-6 locations per day. Your primary goal will be to build meaningful relationships in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that the brand is well-represented and that all promotional materials are correctly displayed and priced. In this role, you will not only promote the brand but also work to increase awareness and enthusiasm for selling the client's products. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with client field leadership, retailer field leadership, and associates, effectively removing barriers to sales. Responsibilities

  • Engage and build relationships with mobile store staff and management.
  • Train staff on product information, messaging, and selling tips related to mobile accessory products.
  • Promote the brand and increase awareness of the client's products.
  • Ensure all signage and point of purchase materials are in place and properly priced.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with client and retailer field leadership and associates.
  • Remove barriers to sales and drive enthusiasm for selling clients' products.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience working with consumer electronics at retail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience with T-Mobile, Cricket, Verizon, Metro PC, and/or Boost Mobile is preferred.
  • Comfortable training and coaching retail associates on how to use client's products and equipment.
  • Technology savvy and confident in discussing innovative products.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.
  • Ability to use technology to record work and time.
