About the position

The Brand Ambassador at Acreage NJ CCF, LLC, doing business as The Botanist, is responsible for increasing brand awareness and driving sales by promoting products through various channels. This role involves close collaboration with the Wholesale Sales and Marketing departments to achieve business objectives, communicate brand value, and represent the brand at events. The position requires excellent communication skills, a strong social media presence, and the ability to travel extensively across Northern New Jersey.

Responsibilities

  • Increase brand awareness and drive sales by promoting products through various channels.
  • Collaborate with Wholesale Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Educate customers, retailers, and distributors about products and champion the online training platform.
  • Track marketing material supplies and notify the Wholesale Sales team of inventory levels and future orders.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry-related events, providing support as needed.
  • Collaborate with Logistics and Transport to provide dispensaries with delivery documents in advance of scheduled deliveries.
  • Assist the Wholesale Sales Manager and Coordinators in building rapport with customers and vendors.
  • Monitor customer feedback and address potential issues or complaints regarding customer service.
  • Track customer preferences, metrics, and media campaigns.
  • Represent the company in compliance with state and company policies at events and product launches.
  • Brainstorm ideas and participate in training and workshops.
  • Work closely with the Wholesale Sales team to update dispensary profiles and sales operation data entry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced client-service intensive industry, preferably in hospitality or retail.
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy and detail-oriented.
  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools.
  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years of post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in a sales/support environment.
