About the position

BagNotBin is your gateway to exclusive deals from local restaurants, helping you save money on takeout. We're not just a discount app; we're on a mission to rescue surplus food that might otherwise go to waste. Restaurants on the BagNotBin app will offer discounts on certain meals to attract new customers while others will provide discounts on surplus food that would otherwise be thrown out at the end of the day. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills to act as a brand ambassador for BagNotBin, promoting the app and its benefits to customers. This role will primarily involve leveraging your network and engaging with individuals in the community to encourage them to sign up as customers on the app. You'll provide them with a special referral code, enabling them to enjoy their first pickup meal for free.

Responsibilities

• Visit local businesses to encourage their employees to sign up as customers.
• Attend local events, fairs, and gatherings to promote the app and attract new users.
• Set up tables around the community to hand out $10 meal cards to potential customers.
• Leverage your connections within the community, including family and friends, to encourage sign-ups on the app.

Requirements

• Must reside in the Manchester area.
• Must have access to a vehicle for traveling to various locations within the community.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Outgoing and comfortable engaging with diverse audiences.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated with a passion for community engagement and local businesses.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
