About the position

At Main Event, our Brand Ambassadors play an important role because they are the first and last person the Guest sees on every visit! As a Brand Ambassador, you assist in helping our Guests tailor their FUN experience by advising and answering questions on various activities and directing them to their activities! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation. In this position, you will be responsible for upholding our cleanliness and safety standards, which we take very seriously. You will welcome and greet all Guests, embodying the spirit of FUN, as first impressions are everything! You will communicate to the team who is a first-time Guest and answer their questions regarding various activities and directions. Managing the guest experience is key, which includes keeping communication clear on wait times for games, food, and other activities. You will escort Guests to various activities, explain safety rules, and assist with table maintenance. Thanking our Guests for coming and welcoming them back is also part of your daily duties, along with performing opening, mid-day, or closing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Welcoming and greeting all Guests as an ambassador of FUN.
  • Communicating to the team who is a first-time Guest.
  • Answering Guests' questions on various activities and directions.
  • Managing the guest experience by keeping communication clear on wait times for games, food, and other activities.
  • Escorting Guests to various activities, explaining safety rules, and assisting with table maintenance.
  • Thanking Guests for coming and welcoming them back.
  • Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties.

Requirements

  • Prior food and beverage experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Guest-focused mindset.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Food Handlers Certification, as required.
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
  • Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends.
