About the position

Adams Generators is seeking a Brand Ambassador to join our team in Barrington, IL, on either a part-time or full-time basis. The Brand Ambassador will play a crucial role in our sales and marketing division, working closely to achieve our marketing goals and objectives. This position requires a dynamic individual who enjoys engaging with customers and has a passion for promoting our products. The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for communicating the value of our products to customers, tracking customer feedback, and representing the brand at various launches and events. In this role, you will be expected to set up marketing displays and ensure that our advertising materials are strategically positioned to attract customer attention. You will need to develop and maintain strong communication links with customers, representing the brand positively and professionally. Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams, you will gain a deep understanding of our goals and objectives, allowing you to effectively plan and execute awareness programs aimed at prospective customers. Additionally, you will provide valuable insights and feedback regarding customer interactions and brand perception. To excel as a Brand Ambassador, you should possess excellent communication and networking skills, along with a solid understanding of sales and marketing principles. Previous experience in a similar role is strongly desired, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent. Reliable transportation is essential, as you will be traveling between two large retail box stores in Lake Zurich, IL, and Lake in the Hills, IL. The schedule is flexible, with a minimum requirement of twenty hours per week for part-time employees, while full-time employees will be eligible for comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.

Responsibilities

  • Set up marketing displays and ensure brand advertising materials are strategically positioned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some experience in a customer-facing role with sales concepts.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between retail locations.
  • PC proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience as a brand ambassador or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
