About the position

Charleston Distilling Co is seeking part-time Brand Ambassadors to represent the company throughout South Carolina. The role involves conducting liquor tastings and promotions in various locations, providing an opportunity for individuals to earn extra income while engaging with customers and promoting the brand.

Responsibilities

• Travel to specific liquor store locations to set up displays.
• Coordinate with liquor stores to schedule tastings and file proper paperwork with SLED.
• Pour liquor samples to customers, abiding by SLED serving laws.
• Discuss the product with consumers and assist them in adding the product to their cart.
• Collect data based on what items are chosen.
• Break down the display table after events.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have current TIPS certification.
• Must have a cell phone.
• Ability to positively engage with customers.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent active listening skills.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge in the spirits industry is a plus, but not necessary.
