About the position

The Brand Ambassador role at Phoenix Pride involves engaging with attendees at a two-day LGBTQ+ event, promoting awareness for HIV PreP through interactive activities and product promotion. The position requires high energy and professionalism, as ambassadors will work closely with guests, including taking photos with a drag queen and distributing promotional materials.

Responsibilities

• Work at a booth promoting a product for HIV PreP.
• Assist guests in taking photos with a drag queen.
• Hand out branded swag and promotional materials.
• Encourage guests to scan QR codes for more information.
• Participate in light set up and tear down of the booth.
• Raise awareness for HIV PreP by distributing palm cards.

Requirements

• Must identify as LGBTQ+ or be a strong ally.
• Prior knowledge of HIV PreP is preferred, but minimal knowledge is acceptable.
• Availability for mandatory paid training and event days.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in event promotion or brand ambassadorship.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
