About the position

The Brand and Marketing Designer role at Intuit involves joining the Marketing Design team as a Visual & Motion Designer within the ProTax Group. This position focuses on creating and refining marketing campaigns that resonate with accountants and tax professionals, emphasizing collaboration, creativity, and adherence to brand standards. The designer will work on various marketing deliverables across multiple channels, utilizing both visual and motion design skills to enhance customer engagement and drive business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Be an Intuit Accountants brand expert, ensuring compliance with brand standards across all marketing elements.
  • Collaboratively design marketing campaigns and elements that drive awareness and engagement, generating qualified leads.
  • Develop animations for outbound marketing efforts, including display animations, pre-roll videos, and GIFs for email campaigns.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional marketing partners to foster trust and effective communication.
  • Manage multiple project workstreams with complex timelines, using strong communication skills to set expectations.
  • Engage in broad conceptual thinking during the discovery phase, iterating quickly based on feedback.
  • Provide visual and motion design guidance to marketing partners, supporting effective communication to senior leadership.
  • Champion change in the product lineup, focusing on the adoption of Attach product offerings.
  • Contribute to the creative strategy for the Intuit Accountants brand by applying Design for Delight principles.
  • Mentor and provide feedback to other creatives on the team, celebrating organizational successes.
  • Apply analytical thinking to creative work, aligning design with business objectives.
  • Demonstrate inclusive leadership through collaboration and recognition of diverse opinions.

Requirements

  • At least five years of extensive experience in visual design.
  • Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Experience in motion design using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Express, and Lottie.
  • Familiarity with visual editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and Apple Final Cut.
  • Interest and experience with visual generative AI tools, such as Adobe Firefly.
  • Background in Direct Marketing is ideal.
  • Experience in writing for email and Paid Digital Media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of design systems and visual design principles across integrated marketing communications.
  • Curiosity for new ideas and commitment to customer feedback for rapid iteration.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • A strong online portfolio showcasing design craft and collaborative process.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Direct Marketing.
  • Familiarity with visual generative AI tools.
