About the position

The Senior Director of Brand and Marketing ROI at Kantar plays a pivotal role in the commercialization and delivery of analytic solutions focused on Brand and Marketing Return On Investment, particularly the LIFT ROI, which is Kantar's Marketing Mix Modelling Solution. This position requires an analytical leader with a clear vision to ensure that each solution presented to clients aligns with Kantar's global and North American analytic strategies and development plans. The role embraces the unique demands of the North American market, leveraging the extensive resources available across Kantar to deliver exceptional insights and drive client success. In this role, the Senior Director will engage in business development by collaborating closely with Analytics Commercial Development Leads, Client Management, and Client Partners to identify leads and develop opportunities. They will work with account team leads to enhance awareness and understanding of Kantar's solutions both internally and externally. The Senior Director will also lead proposals and responses to RFPs, crafting content that drives commercial success. Financial management is another critical aspect of this role, where the Senior Director will be responsible for meeting annual revenue and profit targets. They will seek ways to improve profitability by optimizing project efficiencies, making informed resourcing decisions, and adjusting pricing strategies as necessary. Project management responsibilities include leading assigned projects from initial scope through to insight delivery, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to provide integrated and actionable insights. The Senior Director will coordinate with analytics delivery resources to enhance operational efficiency and ensure that programs are delivered on time and within the agreed project scope. Client and collaborator management is essential, as the Senior Director will produce regular updates for collaborators, maintain strong working relationships, and work to grow repeat business with existing clients. In terms of analytic consulting, the Senior Director will deliver outstanding insights from analytics work, driving clients to take action based on recommendations and providing measurable Return On Investment. As a solution champion, the Senior Director will work with team members to identify new product development opportunities and review existing solutions for improvement. They will also collaborate on piloting new launches and co-create marketing collateral and thought leadership materials, ensuring that Kantar remains at the forefront of the analytics field.

Responsibilities

  • Support the commercialization and delivery of Brand and Marketing ROI analytic solutions, focusing on LIFT ROI.
  • Collaborate with Analytics Commercial Development Leads, Client Management, and Client Partners for lead identification and opportunity development.
  • Raise awareness and understanding of Kantar's solutions internally and externally with account team leads.
  • Lead proposals and RFP responses, building content to drive commercial success.
  • Deliver on agreed annual revenue and profit targets, optimizing project efficiencies and pricing.
  • Lead projects from initial scope to insight delivery, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Coordinate with analytics delivery resources to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Produce regular updates for collaborators and maintain strong working relationships with key collaborators.
  • Grow and repeat business with existing clients through strong relationship management.
  • Deliver outstanding insights from analytics work, driving clients to take action based on recommendations.
  • Identify potential new product development opportunities and review existing solutions for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Econometrics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field, or higher with 8+ years of integrated analytic experience within marketing effectiveness measurement services.
  • Confident comprehension of Kantar's collective offer within BMROI and the broader Kantar Analytics Practice.
  • Commercially and client-oriented with the ability to support commercial and consulting teams.
  • Expertise in Marketing Mix Modelling and Consulting.
  • Proficiency in Return On Investment frameworks and measurement.
  • Experience in running large marketing measurement programs and consulting with various clients across industries.
  • People management experience and a challenger mentality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for discovering patterns in large data sets.
