About the position

The Brand Communications Insights Manager will lead the development of data and analytics capabilities within Corporate Communications, focusing on insights generation and performance measurement for the company's brands on a global and North American scale. This role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders, driving operational excellence, and implementing a measurement framework to assess the effectiveness of brand communications.

Responsibilities

  • Drive insights for North America Brand Comms & Global Brand comms business.
  • Serve the NA brand communications agenda and drive operational excellence in distilling key insights to the business.
  • Work closely with the Corporate & NA Communications Insights leadership team to identify and build synergies between backend data build and business requirements.
  • Manage and influence senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Collaborate on RepTrak Corporate Reputation workstream led by Corporate & NA Comms Insights lead.
  • Act as Insights counsel for the different business units.
  • Brief the agency for NA Brand comms requests within the specified contract.
  • Build insight reports for GFG and IB briefs by working directly with business partners and connecting with the agency.
  • Disseminate Corporate Reputation insights to key business partners.
  • Proactively uncover insights that unearth new market opportunities or help to mitigate risk.
  • Drive execution excellence for NA brand comms & Global brand comms.
  • Deliver market, portfolio, and brand level analysis utilizing agency delivered dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Develop robust explanations of business performance, drivers, and optimization opportunities.
  • Provide responses to ad-hoc follow-ups with relevant data.
  • Champion the D&A function via sharing of best practices across Comms and internally within D&A.
  • Lead the development of a measurement framework to track and measure communication impact on brand objectives.
  • Become the performance measurement referent for Corporate and NA Communications.
  • Roll out and implement the measurement framework to assess brand communications effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in Insights or Analytics within a leading consumer goods company.
  • High degree of familiarity with social & media listening and performance measurement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior management.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing a culturally diverse senior stakeholder group.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of overseeing transformation projects.
  • Experience managing multi-country/functional projects.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Change management experience including comms, HR, legal processes, and IT setup.
  • Flexibility in adjusting and reprioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
