This role is crucial in aligning with integrated marketing communications (IMC) plans to achieve the marketing and sales objectives of Terumo Interventional Systems (TIS). The Brand Communications Manager will directly impact the financial performance of the TIS business unit, necessitating a high level of leadership, management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. In this position, the Brand Communications Manager will partner closely with the product management team to develop IMC plans and execute marketing tactics that support and drive product portfolios and initiatives. The role also involves managing communications that affect the overall business and contributing to the brand stewardship of all Terumo brands. It is essential that all communication programs are executed on time and within budget, with careful monitoring of expenses to ensure alignment with financial plans. The Brand Communications Manager will lead the planning and implementation of communication programs and campaigns, which include advertisements, brand collateral, video/animation, email marketing, and educational tools across various traditional and digital media channels. This position requires ongoing collaboration with medical, regulatory, and legal partners to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and appropriate clinical representation of assets. Additionally, the manager will oversee external agencies responsible for the design and evaluation of brand communications programs, ensuring that all messaging adheres to brand guidelines and regulatory standards. The role also includes strategic planning for trade shows, oversight of media schedules, and contributions to public relations programs, including press release development. The Brand Communications Manager will play a vital role in company-wide activities and events, while also expanding their knowledge of current and new product lines to create effective communication materials. A commitment to patient safety and product quality is paramount, requiring adherence to TMC Quality Systems and compliance with all applicable regulations.
