About the position

The Brand Content and Social Media Manager at Raffles Hotels & Resorts will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's online presence and engagement across various social media platforms. This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Raffles' vision of enchanted glamour and legendary service. The manager will oversee the management of key social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube, ensuring that content is not only engaging but also consistent with the brand's identity and values. In this role, the manager will create and maintain a social media calendar that reflects current trends and audience interests, while also adapting to the evolving landscape of social media algorithms and platform features. The position requires collaboration with individual hotels to review and enhance their social media strategies, ensuring that all content adheres to Raffles' brand standards. The manager will also be responsible for fostering communication between the brand and hotel teams, sharing best practices and insights to optimize social media performance. Additionally, the Brand Content and Social Media Manager will develop a global content strategy that resonates with both the brand's overarching goals and the unique characteristics of each property. This includes crafting compelling narratives and visuals that highlight the luxurious experiences offered by Raffles, ultimately driving engagement and loyalty among guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in luxury social media management, particularly within the hospitality sector, and will be adept at using graphic design tools to create visually appealing content.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategy for Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Create and maintain a social media calendar across all organic channels.
  • Review and provide feedback on individual hotel social media strategies to ensure brand consistency.
  • Own communication between brand and hotel regarding social media and content best practices.
  • Develop and implement a global content strategy that aligns with Raffles' vision and goals.
  • Adapt social media strategies based on trends, algorithms, and platform changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 6+ years of experience in luxury social media and/or hospitality management.
  • Strong graphic design skills, including proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, and Adobe Pro.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth understanding of current and upcoming social media trends.
  • Strong project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in content creation and storytelling for luxury brands.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure social media performance.
