About the position

The Brand Content and Social Media Manager at Raffles Hotels & Resorts will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's online presence and engagement. This position is responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy that enhances Raffles' positioning as a symbol of enchanted glamour and legendary service across various social media platforms. Reporting directly to the SVP Global Head of Brand Raffles, the manager will oversee the management of key social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The role requires the creation of tailored social media strategies for each platform, with a focus on adapting to evolving trends, algorithms, and user behaviors. The manager will be tasked with developing, planning, and executing a social media calendar that encompasses all organic social channels, ensuring that content is timely, relevant, and engaging. Additionally, the manager will review and provide constructive feedback on individual hotel social media strategies and content to maintain brand consistency across all properties. A critical aspect of this role is to facilitate effective communication between the brand and individual hotels regarding social media and content best practices. The manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing a global content strategy that aligns with Raffles' vision and goals, both at the brand and property levels. This position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong understanding of luxury social media dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the social media accounts for Raffles Hotels & Resorts including Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Create and refresh social media strategies for each platform based on evolving trends and algorithms.
  • Develop, plan, and execute a social media calendar across all organic channels.
  • Review and provide feedback on individual hotel social media strategies to ensure brand consistency.
  • Facilitate communication between the brand and hotels regarding social media and content best practices.
  • Develop and implement a global content strategy that aligns with Raffles' vision and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in luxury social media and/or hospitality.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and meet changing deadlines on multiple projects.
  • Graphic design skills including proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, and Adobe Pro.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a flexible and positive attitude.
  • In-depth understanding of relevant and upcoming social media trends.
  • Strong project management skills.
