About the position

As the Brand Creative Director at Nium, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's identity and driving its growth through innovative marketing strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to take ownership of all brand and creative efforts, leading a world-class marketing team to establish a high-output creative environment. You will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive brand strategy that resonates across all markets, products, and channels globally. This includes identifying growth opportunities through data analysis and research, prioritizing initiatives, and collaborating closely with product, tech, and growth marketing teams to position branding as a key driver of customer acquisition. In this role, you will streamline the process of brand development, ensuring that Nium's branding evolves to become one of the best in the fintech industry. You will build programs and tools that empower your team to maximize the impact of branding on customers and partners. Leading a talented brand and creative marketing team, you will turn your vision for brand positioning into reality, ensuring that all creative executions are consistent, high-quality, and aligned with Nium's business objectives. You will also manage global and regional agency relationships, driving thought leadership in creative ideation and ensuring efficient production processes. As a vocal advocate for the brand vision, you will engage with functional partners and C-suite leadership to demonstrate the power of creative as a business driver. Your leadership will be essential in creating innovative brand programs that support Nium's vision and objectives, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the brand goals, creative strategy, and execution across all markets, products, and channels globally.
  • Identify both short- and long-term growth opportunities through data, research, and relentless experimentation.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly and work alongside product, tech, and a broader growth marketing team to establish branding as a formidable customer acquisition driver.
  • Streamline the process of developing the brand to become one of the best in fintech.
  • Build programs and tools to empower the team to supercharge the impact of branding to customers and partners.
  • Build, lead, and support a world-class brand and creative marketing team.
  • Partner closely with regional and global marketing teams to ensure seamless and consistent brand executions.
  • Manage global and regional agency relationships to drive thought leadership in creative ideation and development.
  • Ensure systems and processes are defined, reviewed, improved, and maintained efficiently.
  • Create bar-raising brand creative programs to support and reinforce brand vision and business objectives.
  • Advocate for the department and help the organization see the power of creative as a business driver.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in senior level creative roles at a technology company.
  • 8+ years of experience leading large brand and creative teams and managing regional and/or global agency relationships.
  • Portfolio of work that showcases diversity and range of creative thinking and execution.
  • Experience leading and managing high-performing global teams.
  • A start-up spirit, drive to innovate, and a passion for B2B marketing.
  • Ability to allocate resources efficiently and get things done under time pressure with high attention to detail.
