About the position

The Brand Engagement Manager for Therapy Austin (TA) & Austin DBT Associates (ADBTA) will lead the development and execution of a culturally resonant brand strategy that emphasizes community-based mental health care. This role focuses on crafting messaging that positions TA and ADBTA as trusted, personal therapy providers, differentiating them from larger competitors. The manager will enhance digital presence, foster community engagement, and execute targeted campaigns to establish TA as the preferred therapy provider in Austin.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and execution of a brand identity that emphasizes community-driven values.
  • Develop and refine a Unique Value Proposition (UVP) that highlights commitment to personalized, high-quality care.
  • Infuse brand messaging with local culture through imagery, language, and community themes.
  • Position TA and ADBTA as a lifestyle brand integrated into the fabric of Austin life.
  • Revise and implement updated brand messaging and a new positioning statement.
  • Develop visual and verbal branding guidelines that reflect local culture.
  • Redesign advertising campaigns to focus on culture-driven narratives.
  • Ensure messaging consistency across all platforms to resonate with the target audience.
  • Create segmented ad campaigns targeting specific therapy modalities and populations.
  • Design ads that portray TA and ADBTA as part of the Austin lifestyle.
  • Implement targeted campaigns with tailored creatives that align with the revised brand identity.
  • Collaborate with local businesses, events, and influencers to elevate brand visibility.
  • Showcase client testimonials and success stories to highlight impact on local lives.
  • Organize and participate in local events and workshops focused on mental health awareness.
  • Plan and execute sponsorships and collaborations that align with TA's values.
  • Lead the redesign of TA's and ADBTA's website with a minimalist, neighborly design.
  • Integrate local cultural elements into the website's visuals and content.
  • Simplify navigation for a seamless user experience and add interactive features.
  • Regularly assess website performance and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of branding and community engagement efforts.
  • Manage the brand's marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Prepare regular reports on brand performance and adapt strategies based on insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or community engagement, preferably in a healthcare or local business context.
  • Expertise in content creation, copywriting, and messaging that aligns with brand values.
  • Experience in digital marketing with a strong understanding of website optimization and user experience.
  • Ability to develop and execute targeted advertising campaigns across media channels.
