About the position

The Brand Finance Manager at Diageo plays a crucial role in supporting the Rum & Vodka team by providing financial forecasting, analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning to achieve North American market objectives. This high-visibility position involves collaboration with marketing and finance leadership, focusing on the financial agenda for a portfolio exceeding $1.3 billion in net sales value. The role requires analytical insights to guide decision-making and ensure alignment with Diageo's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Support the Rum & Vodka team with forecasting, analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Own and lead the financial agenda for the Rum & Vodka portfolio.
• Provide analytical insights to the Lead Brands SVP and Leadership Team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to model future brand performance and assess growth drivers.
• Lead the Portfolio Strategy process for Rum & Vodka Brands.
• Develop financial elements of the annual brand planning process across Rum & Vodka Categories.
• Assess investment opportunities and develop return on investment analyses.
• Drive efficiency initiatives for effective resource allocation.
• Support VP & SVP in ad-hoc projects related to US Strategy and performance management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant business experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• MBA and/or recognized accounting qualification preferred.
• FP&A, Brand Finance, or Commercial Finance experience preferred.
• CPG experience preferred.
• Outstanding analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across a large matrix organization.
• Capacity to communicate complex ideas in simple terms.
• Ability to balance strategy with execution.
• High energy and drive.
