About the position

The Brand Governance Manager at Lumen is responsible for ensuring a consistent brand experience across all customer interactions. This role involves managing brand and legal approvals, conducting brand reviews, and training employees and external partners on brand usage. The manager will collaborate with various internal teams to maintain brand integrity and facilitate the seamless integration of brand identity throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Review external and internal assets for brand compliance, including visual identity and brand elements.
  • Develop understanding and embedding of the brand across the business with various teams.
  • Conduct naming brand reviews and other necessary evaluations.
  • Facilitate training sessions and manage conversations regarding brand identity usage.
  • Manage the routing of Brand and Legal reviews through Adobe Workfront.
  • Train new users on the Workfront Brand & Legal review submission process.
  • Manage third-party logo usage and resizing requests.
  • Facilitate Lumen brand store orders and assist with executive orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, brand management or similar.
  • 3-4 years of experience in brand management design in an in-house or agency role.
  • Demonstrable understanding of visual and verbal identity in brand building.
  • Ability to articulate constructive feedback and direction clearly.
  • Experience in creating, managing, and delivering brand assets and training content.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with experience influencing stakeholders.
  • Strong project and agency management skills, including writing briefs and evaluating outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of brand management and marketing operations software, such as Adobe Workfront.
  • Experience in a matrixed organization, fostering positive relationships across departments.
